ASK THEM,CALL THEM, FAX THEM, E THEM,STOP THEM ON THE STREET. find out what they are going to do to save the lives of people who will die because there is NO HOSPITALL and NO TRAUMA 1 EMERGENCY ROOM.

Don't let them off the hook when they answer that they support the Long Island Jewish Hospital/ Lenox Hill "Free Standing Comprehensive Health Care with Emergency Service " on the site of the O'Toole building. LIJ CEO MICHAEL DOWLING has already admitted publicly that this upscale Urgent Care profit driven center will NOT be able to treat the 10% of emergencies that St Vincent's Emergency Room did. This means the most SERIOUS medical crises will be sent across town in traffic where who knows how long it will take the ambulance to get to a proper emergency room. We are talking about heart attacks, aneurism, strokes, childhood chocking, gun shots wounds, and any disaster related health emergency.
PEOPLE WILL DIE IN THE TIME IT TAKES TO GET THEN TO A HOSPITAL .
ASK THEM HOW WITH A CLEAR CONSCIOUS THEY WILL ALLOW 10% of the most vulnerable medical emergencies to be not be cared for in this multimillion dollar profit incentive scam of am Emergency ROOM.. ASK THEM and WAIT FOR AN ANSWER . Don't let them off the hook the way that THE VILLAGER has. We need a hospital with a trauma 1 emergency room to replace St Vincent's in Greenwich Village on the West Side of Manhattan. Now there is no hospital or authentic emergency room to treat over a million people who live/work on the West Side in a critical health crisis. Urgent Care, no matter how fancy, can NOT by law, treat critical health emergencies: HEART ATTACK, STROKE, child CHOKING, etc.
